Long Camel Ride
A full hour in the saddle plus henna and a Bedouin snack — for guests who want more than the photo moment.
When you want the full Bedouin afternoon
The 60-minute camel ride is for guests who want to genuinely experience desert travel, not just capture a photo. It's a full hour on the camel — not including camp time before and after — across a long loop that passes two photo stops, a rest point, and back to the Bedouin majlis.
Quote on Request covers the ride, handler, photo stops, henna station, Bedouin snack (dates, bread, cheese, coffee) and camp entry. Ideal for couples who want a slower afternoon.

Frequently asked
Is 60 minutes too long on a camel?+
Most guests find it comfortable — the pace is slow and the rest stop breaks it up. A minority find 60 minutes a bit too much; they can tap out at the rest stop and ride the 4WD back.
Is the long ride physically uncomfortable?+
Less than you'd think. The saddle is padded, the pace is walking speed, and the rest stop gives your back a break. Most guests report mild thigh soreness the next day.
Can the long ride be done at sunset?+
Yes — we run a 'long sunset' variant starting 90 minutes before sunset. Same price. Tell us you want sunset timing when booking.
Can children do the long ride?+
Kids 8+ can do it solo. Kids under 8 should stick to the 30-minute or short-ride format — 60 minutes is too long for most small children.
