Who actually runs your tour
Every tour you book is run by a real person — a guide who shows up to the staging field at 05:30, checks your helmet, runs the briefing, and drives with you. Our 40-person team is split across guides, drivers, booking coordinators, mechanics, and a dedicated safety officer.
We don't list individual team photos on the site (privacy preference), but we're happy to tell you who will guide your specific tour after booking. A first-name introduction on WhatsApp the day before is standard.
Team structure
18 guides
Lead and sweep guides for dune buggy, quad, dirt bike and safari tours.
9 drivers
4WD Land Cruiser and Nissan Patrol drivers for safari and transfers.
4 mechanics
On-call vehicle maintenance, daily pre-ride checks.
5 booking coordinators
WhatsApp and phone bookings in English, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi.
1 safety officer
Oversees incident reporting, first-aid kit inspections, driver certification.
3 partner leads
Interface with balloon, camel and zipline partner operators.
What certifications we hold
Off-road driving cert
Every dune bash driver is certified on sand vehicle handling.
First aid
All guides hold current first-aid training with quarterly refresh.
Adventure activity leader
UAE-recognised adventure activity licence for guide leads.
DTCM compliance
Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism compliance training for all customer-facing team.
Frequently asked
Can I request a specific guide?+
Yes — if you've been on a previous tour and want the same guide, message us when booking. We'll honour the request if the schedule allows.
Why don't you show team photos?+
Staff privacy preference. Several guides asked not to have their photos online. We respect that. You'll meet them in person.
Is the team permanent or freelance?+
Mixed — ~70% permanent staff, ~30% long-term freelance contractors. The senior guides have been with us for 5+ years.
Do you hire adventure guides?+
Yes — we hire year-round for the main season starting October. See our careers page for current openings.
