Plain-English terms

These are the Terms and Conditions that apply when you book a tour with Dune Buggy Dubai. We've written them in plain English — no hidden legalese. The goal is that you actually read them and understand what you're agreeing to.

By booking any tour with us, you agree to these terms. If you need a signed copy for travel insurance or a corporate booking, email [email protected] and we'll send a PDF.

1. Booking & payment

A booking is confirmed only after payment is received — either in full (for short tours) or with a 50% deposit (for longer or private tours). We accept bank transfer, credit card, and major digital wallets.

Bookings are non-transferable without prior written approval. You cannot sell or give away a confirmed slot to a third party.

The tour date and time are as per your booking confirmation. Any change request must be made at least 24 hours before the tour start time and is subject to availability.

2. Cancellation & refunds

Free cancellation up to 12 hours before pickup. 50% refund for cancellations within 12 hours. No refund for no-shows or same-minute cancellations.

If we cancel the tour (weather, vehicle issue, unforeseen operational reason), you receive a full refund or a free reschedule to another date — your choice.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

3. Liability & risk

Adventure tours carry inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, equipment damage, motion sickness, sunburn and heat exhaustion. You acknowledge these risks when you sign the waiver at the start of the tour.

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the tour. We maintain mandatory third-party passenger insurance under DTCM rules.

You are responsible for ensuring you have personal travel insurance that covers adventure activities. Our insurance does not replace yours.

4. Age & licence requirements

Different tours have different age minimums: 6+ for kids quad; 16+ for adult quad and dune buggy; 18+ for dirt biking and self-drive; no minimum for camel rides and desert safari.

Some tours require a licence: dirt biking asks for a motorbike licence from any country; self-drive quad biking requires proof of prior experience.

Lying about age or experience to access a tour voids our liability and forfeits your booking fee.

5. Behaviour & removal

Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed on the tour. This includes residual intoxication from the night before.

Aggressive, dangerous or non-compliant behaviour is grounds for removal from the tour at the guide's discretion. No refund applies.

Damage to vehicles or equipment beyond normal wear is charged to the guest — typically via the deposit or an invoice.
