What data we collect and why
We collect the minimum data needed to run your tour: your name, phone, email, hotel, group size, tour date, payment details, and any dietary requirements or health considerations you share with us. That's it. No cookies beyond basic analytics. No data sales. No unnecessary sharing.
This policy complies with UAE data protection law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and follows the spirit of GDPR for our European guests. You have the right to request, correct or delete your data at any time.
What we collect
Booking data: Name, phone, email, hotel address, group size, tour date and time, dietary or health notes you share.
Payment data: Card token only — we don't store full card numbers. Payment processing is done via our licensed payment processor (they hold the card details, we receive only a transaction reference).
Website data: Basic analytics — which pages you visited, where you came from (search engine or direct), what device you used. No personally identifying information is tied to this analytics data.
WhatsApp data: Your message content and contact when you message our WhatsApp number. Used for booking coordination and retained for 12 months.
What we don't do
We do not sell your data to any third party. Not for marketing, not for advertising, not ever.
We do not share your data with other tour operators. Partner handoffs (for balloon or camel partners) share only the minimum needed: name, group size, pickup location.
We do not track you across other websites. No Facebook pixel by default, no Google Ads retargeting, no cookie fingerprinting.
We do not contact you for marketing unless you specifically opt in to our newsletter.
Your rights
Right to access
Email us and we'll send everything we have on you within 30 days.
Right to correct
Tell us what's wrong and we'll fix it immediately.
Right to delete
Email us and your data is deleted within 30 days (except data required by law, e.g. tax records).
Right to export
We'll send your data in CSV or JSON format on request.

Only essential cookies for session management and basic analytics (page views, referrer). No advertising or retargeting cookies. Analytics data is not tied to any identifiable person.
Who has access to my data inside the company?+
Only the booking coordinator, your assigned guide (first name and pickup hotel only), and our accountant (for payment reconciliation). No wider team access.
How long do you keep my data?+
Booking records: 7 years (UAE tax requirement). WhatsApp messages: 12 months. Payment card tokens: deleted 30 days after tour completion. Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
What if there's a data breach?+
We follow UAE data protection law notification rules — affected guests are informed within 72 hours of discovery, along with details of what was exposed and what we're doing about it.
