What an overnight Bedouin camp stay actually involves

The overnight desert safari is the safari format that keeps you in the desert after the evening-group crowd leaves. From roughly 22:00, the day-tripper buses pull out and the camp empties — from there, only overnight guests remain. You sleep in a private Arabic tent with a real bed and en-suite facilities, wake up for a sunrise photo session, and return to Dubai after breakfast. Price: AED 749 per adult, all-in.

This is not a backpacker format. The tents are permanent structures with air-conditioning, a real mattress, bedding, toiletries and private bathrooms. It is Bedouin-style, but the overnight side is closer to a small boutique lodge than a bivouac.
