How rental works
- Send WhatsApp with dates, duration, pickup location and group size.
- We confirm the buggy model (Can-Am or Polaris), desert zone and pickup time. Secure your slot with a 20% deposit via link.
- Pickup day: Our 4x4 collects you from your Dubai hotel, transfers to basecamp (35–60 min depending on zone).
- Check-in: Gear fitting, signed waiver, safety briefing, practice loop. ~20 minutes total.
- Ride starts: Your rental clock begins when the convoy leaves the basecamp — not when pickup begins.
- Return: Buggy is parked at basecamp, gear returned, final balance settled, drop-off at hotel.
Rental FAQ
Can I rent without a guide?+
In almost all cases, no. Private UAE desert terrain is insured only when a certified guide is present. Exceptions can be made for international off-road certification holders with advance documentation — message us.
Do I need a security deposit?+
Yes, AED 1,000 per buggy, refundable on return. We charge it to your card as a hold, not an actual payment. Released within 48 hours of drop-off if the buggy is returned in the same condition.
What if I damage the buggy?+
Our insurance covers most damage from normal desert riding — sand scratches, minor panel dents, flat tyres. Customer liability applies only to reckless or out-of-briefing behaviour, capped at the AED 1,000 deposit unless gross negligence is involved.
Can I take the buggy on public roads?+
No. Dune buggies are off-road vehicles, not RTA road-registered. They stay on private desert terrain only. If spotted on public roads you lose your deposit and could face RTA fines.
