Private 4WD 4–5 Hours Up to 6 Guests

Private Morning Desert Safari Experience

Your own 4WD, your own driver, your own pace. No shared vehicle, no fixed departure time, no strangers in the back row. Up to 6 guests ride together in a private Toyota Land Cruiser through Lahbab's red dunes — flexible itinerary, extended photo stops, and a driver who answers only to your group. Price is per vehicle, not per person.

What is the Private Morning Desert Safari?

The Private Morning Desert Safari is our shared morning safari with one critical upgrade — a dedicated 4WD for your group only. No other families share your back row. No fixed pickup time. No rushing through the photo stops because 10 other guests are waiting. You get a Toyota Land Cruiser, a driver who answers only to your group, and a 4–5 hour window to spend however you want.

Standard pickup is between 07:00 and 08:30, but private bookings can start as early as 05:30 for pre-sunrise photography or as late as 09:30. Standard duration is 4 hours but can extend to 5 if you want more dune time, a longer camel ride, or extra photo stops at the ridge. You still ride the same Lahbab red-dune route — just on your own schedule.

Pricing is AED 799 per vehicle, not per person. Up to 6 guests ride in the same 4WD — so for a family of 4 it's AED 200 per head (cheaper than the shared safari at AED 225). For solo travelers or couples, the shared Morning Safari is the better-value option.

How It Works

From Hotel Lobby to Red Dunes — On Your Schedule

Six flexible steps. You set the pace.

  1. 1

    Book & Customize

WhatsApp us your date, group size (1–6), preferred pickup time (05:30–09:30) and any special requests — sunrise shoot, extra camel time, gentle drive, breakfast box.

  2. 2

    Private Hotel Pickup

Your dedicated 4WD arrives at your hotel lobby at the agreed time. No stopping to collect other families. Direct drive to Lahbab (~45 minutes).

  3. 3

    Dune Bashing (Your Pace)

Dune bashing at the intensity your group wants. Want gentle? Say so. Want more air and faster crests? Same — the driver adjusts to you, not the convoy.

  4. 4

    Extended Photo & Camel

Multiple photo stops at the red ridge, dune crest and camel point. Extended camel ride time — up to 30 min if you want. No rush.

  5. 5

    Sandboarding + Refreshments

Sandboarding on a photogenic slope. Unlimited mineral water at the camp. Optional breakfast box if pre-arranged.

  6. 6

    Flexible Drop-Off

Return to your hotel — or ask to be dropped at Dubai Mall, the airport, or another hotel for no extra charge within Dubai.

Safety First

Private Doesn't Mean Compromise on Safety

Every Private Morning Safari driver holds the same DTCM accreditation and specific Lahbab certification as our shared-safari team. Each Toyota Land Cruiser in the private fleet is serviced to the same standards — all seats have functional seatbelts, including three-point in the middle row. Booster seats available on request — tell us the children's ages.

The extra privacy works in favour of safety for many groups. Pregnant guests, elderly travelers, anyone with back or neck concerns can have the driver switch to a gentle-drive option with no awkward group negotiation. Kids with motion sensitivity can ride at whatever pace suits them. First-aid kit in every vehicle; our camp is radio-linked to emergency services.

What To Wear

  • 👕 Light long-sleeve top — morning desert is cool Oct–Mar
  • 👖 Long trousers or jeans — sand at speed stings bare legs
  • 👟 Closed shoes — sneakers or trainers. No sandals for sandboarding.
  • 🕶️ Sunglasses — sunrise glare at Lahbab is sharp
  • 🧴 Sunscreen SPF 30+
  • 🧣 Light scarf for wind protection
  • 💧 Water bottle (we provide one per guest)
  • 📸 Camera / phone with ample storage — this is the photo package
FAQ

Private Morning Safari — Common Questions

Questions we get every day about this package.

How much is the Private Morning Desert Safari?+
Starts from AED 799 per vehicle (not per person). Up to 6 guests share the same private 4WD. For a family of 4, that works out to AED 200 per head — cheaper than the shared Morning Safari at AED 225 per adult. For 1–2 guests, the shared safari is better value.
How many guests can ride in one private 4WD?+
Up to 6 guests. Kids count toward the 6-seat limit. Larger groups book additional vehicles at AED 799 each. We use Toyota Land Cruiser class 4WDs with seatbelts on every seat.
What's the difference between private and shared Morning Safari?+
Private: dedicated 4WD, private driver, flexible pickup (05:30–09:30), extended photo stops, customizable itinerary, AED 799 per vehicle. Shared: you join 1–2 other families in the same 4WD, fixed 07:00–08:30 pickup, set pace, AED 225 per adult. Private is better for 4+ guests, honeymooners, photographers and elderly travelers.
Can I request a pre-sunrise pickup?+
Yes. Pickup can be as early as 05:30 — popular for photographers chasing golden-hour shots on the red ridge. Tell us when you book and we'll confirm the exact time with the driver.
Can we customize the route or activities?+
Yes. Extra photo stops, skipping aggressive dune bashing, extended camel time, adding a pre-sunrise shoot, specific ridge locations — tell us on WhatsApp when you book and the driver tailors the morning to your group.
What is included in the AED 799 price?+
Private 4WD + private driver + hotel pickup & drop-off + dune bashing + 10-min camel + sandboarding + photo stops + unlimited mineral water + all taxes. Up to 6 guests. No hidden fees. Evening BBQ & entertainment are not included.

Booked the Can-Am Maverick X3 Turbo for sunset and my arms were sore for two days — worth every dirham. Machines felt brand new.

Evening Desert Safari with the BBQ dinner was the highlight of our whole Dubai trip. Fire show had the kids glued.

Yamaha Raptor 700 is genuinely fast, not a toy quad like some operators hand you. Guide kept the convoy tight on the dunes.

Pickup from our hotel in Marina was right on time and the driver knew exactly where he was going. Smooth from start to finish.

Took the 4 Seater Polaris RZR with my family — all four of us fit and the roll cage made my mother-in-law feel safe.

Hot air balloon at dawn then breakfast in the camp — faultless from pickup to drop-off. The falconry display was a lovely touch.

First time on a buggy and the Can-Am Maverick was easy to handle even for a nervous beginner. Staff kept the pace slow until I settled.

Rode the KTM 450 dirt bike after messaging on WhatsApp for pricing — the instructor spent a solid fifteen minutes on basics first.

Went with my sister for the Morning Desert Safari since we didn't want a late night. Dune bashing was smoother than I expected.

Loved that the belly dancer performed close enough that even the shy ones in our group got pulled up to dance. Great BBQ too.

Great value on the Private Morning Safari — just my wife and me with the driver, so we stopped for photos whenever we wanted.

Six of us did the Private Evening Safari with the BBQ — having our own vehicle meant zero waiting at each stop. Well run.

Rented the Can-Am Maverick X3 for the morning and it's a different beast — way more grip on the sand and real turbo punch.

Kids on the fenced kids quad, us on the Kymco singles — the whole family rode and nobody felt left out. Helmets fit properly.

Honestly wasn't expecting much from a quad add-on, but 30 minutes on the Yamaha was one of the better parts of the whole safari.

Upgraded last minute to the Premium hot air balloon and the desert safari after landing was the best breakfast of the holiday.

Zero pressure the whole time — the lead guide read how confident each of us was and adjusted the route on the dunes to match.

Whole trip exceeded what I'd pictured, mostly because of how empty the dunes felt even in peak season. Would book again in a heartbeat.
