What is the Morning Desert Safari?

The Morning Desert Safari Experience is the short, cool-hours alternative to our evening safari. A 4WD SUV collects you from your Dubai hotel at sunrise (pickup 07:00–08:30 depending on zone), drives to the Lahbab Red Desert, and spends the next 2–2.5 hours on the dunes. You're back at your hotel by 12:00–13:00 — before lunch.

On the dune side you get the full 4WD dune bashing circuit, a camel ride at the Bedouin camp, a sandboarding session on a photogenic slope, a photo stop at the red-sand ridge, and unlimited mineral water. The morning slot skips the BBQ dinner and evening entertainment — that's the 6–7 hour evening safari.

Per-adult pricing starts at AED 225. Children aged 3–11 ride for a discounted rate (typically AED 150). Minimum age is 3 years because of the sudden direction changes during dune bashing. Every booking includes Convenient Hotel Pickup from any Dubai zone and a certified desert driver.

How It Works

From Hotel Lobby to Red Dunes — and Back Before Lunch

Six steps. Total door-to-door is 3–4 hours.

  1. 1

    Book on WhatsApp

Send date, number of adults + children (with ages), and hotel name. We confirm your pickup time within minutes.

  2. 2

    Hotel Pickup (07:00–08:30)

Air-conditioned 4WD collects you from your hotel lobby. The drive to Lahbab is about 45 minutes.

  3. 3

    Dune Bashing (20–25 min)

Certified driver takes you through soft red sand, up-and-over crests and through bowl formations. Seatbelts on. Tell the driver if you want it gentle.

  4. 4

    Camel Ride & Sandboarding

Stop at the Bedouin camp for a 10-minute camel ride, a sandboarding session down a photogenic crest and the group photo at the red ridge.

  5. 5

    Refreshments

Unlimited mineral water before the return drive. No BBQ — that's on the evening safari.

  6. 6

    Drop-Off

Back in the 4WD to your hotel. You're home by 12:00–13:00 — rest of the day is yours.

Safety First

Certified Drivers, Seatbelts for Everyone

Every driver on our morning safari is licensed by the Dubai Department of Economy & Tourism (DTCM) and trained specifically on the Lahbab dune system. Every seat has a functional seatbelt — we don't leave the hotel until everyone is buckled in. Kids get booster seats if needed; tell us the ages when you book.

If anyone in your group is pregnant, has back or neck issues, or is an elderly guest, mention it when you book — we'll flag the driver to use the gentle-drive option (same route, no aggressive bashing). First-aid kit is in every vehicle, and our camp is a short radio call from emergency services if ever needed.

What To Wear

  • 👕 Light long-sleeve top (morning desert is cool Oct–Mar)
  • 👖 Long trousers or jeans (sand at speed stings bare legs)
  • 👟 Closed shoes — sneakers or trainers. No sandals for sandboarding.
  • 🕶️ Sunglasses (sunrise glare is sharp)
  • 🧴 Sunscreen SPF 30+ even in morning
  • 🧣 Light scarf for nose/mouth if wind picks up
  • 💧 Small water bottle (we also provide one)
  • 📸 Camera or phone with ample storage
FAQ

Morning Safari — Common Questions

Questions we get every day about this package. Anything else — WhatsApp us.

How much is the Morning Desert Safari?+
Starts from AED 225 per adult. Children 3–11 pay a discounted rate (typically AED 150). Under-3s are not recommended. Price includes hotel pickup, 4WD dune bashing, camel ride, sandboarding and refreshments. No BBQ (that's the evening package).
What time does the Morning Safari start?+
Hotel pickup is between 07:00 and 08:30 depending on your Dubai zone. Drive to Lahbab takes ~45 min. You're back at your hotel by 12:00–13:00 — before lunch. Exact pickup time is confirmed on WhatsApp when you book.
Is it safe for kids?+
Yes, from age 3. Every seat has a seatbelt. Our drivers ease off the aggressive dune bashing when young children are on board — tell the driver if you want it gentle. Under-3 is not recommended because of sudden direction changes.
What's the difference between morning and evening safari?+
Morning is 3–4 hours, cooler temperatures, no BBQ dinner, no live entertainment, no shisha — cheaper and faster. Evening is 6–7 hours, includes BBQ buffet, tanoura show, fire show, belly dance and camel ride (shisha available at extra charge) — more expensive and slower. Morning for families with young kids; evening for the full camp experience.
What's included in the AED 225 price?+
Convenient Hotel Pickup & drop-off, shared 4WD SUV, 20–25 min dune bashing, 10 min camel ride, sandboarding session, photo stop, unlimited mineral water, all taxes. No hidden fees. BBQ dinner and evening entertainment are on the evening safari, not this one.
Can I add a quad bike ride?+
Yes. The Morning Safari + 30-min ATV combo bundles a 30-minute quad ride on our Lahbab track for AED 290 per adult. Same 4–5 hour morning slot with the quad added before the dune bash — ask on WhatsApp to book.
Cancellation policy?+
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup — full refund, no questions. After 24 h we hold the deposit and let you reschedule within 30 days. Same-day cancellation forfeits the deposit.

Booked the Can-Am Maverick X3 Turbo for sunset and my arms were sore for two days — worth every dirham. Machines felt brand new.

Evening Desert Safari with the BBQ dinner was the highlight of our whole Dubai trip. Fire show had the kids glued.

Yamaha Raptor 700 is genuinely fast, not a toy quad like some operators hand you. Guide kept the convoy tight on the dunes.

Pickup from our hotel in Marina was right on time and the driver knew exactly where he was going. Smooth from start to finish.

Took the 4 Seater Polaris RZR with my family — all four of us fit and the roll cage made my mother-in-law feel safe.

Hot air balloon at dawn then breakfast in the camp — faultless from pickup to drop-off. The falconry display was a lovely touch.

First time on a buggy and the Can-Am Maverick was easy to handle even for a nervous beginner. Staff kept the pace slow until I settled.

Rode the KTM 450 dirt bike after messaging on WhatsApp for pricing — the instructor spent a solid fifteen minutes on basics first.

Went with my sister for the Morning Desert Safari since we didn't want a late night. Dune bashing was smoother than I expected.

Loved that the belly dancer performed close enough that even the shy ones in our group got pulled up to dance. Great BBQ too.

Great value on the Private Morning Safari — just my wife and me with the driver, so we stopped for photos whenever we wanted.

Six of us did the Private Evening Safari with the BBQ — having our own vehicle meant zero waiting at each stop. Well run.

Sandboarding then the camel ride at the camp kept my two kids happy for hours, which honestly never happens. Booking was quick.

Rented the Can-Am Maverick X3 for the morning and it's a different beast — way more grip on the sand and real turbo punch.

My husband wanted a quad and I wanted a proper dinner, so the Evening Safari plus the 30-minute ATV solved the argument perfectly.

Second time booking a safari in Dubai and this crew beat the first company by a mile, especially on how organised the pickup was.

Kids on the fenced kids quad, us on the Kymco singles — the whole family rode and nobody felt left out. Helmets fit properly.

Honestly wasn't expecting much from a quad add-on, but 30 minutes on the Yamaha was one of the better parts of the whole safari.

Zero pressure the whole time — the lead guide read how confident each of us was and adjusted the route on the dunes to match.

Whole trip exceeded what I'd pictured, mostly because of how empty the dunes felt even in peak season. Would book again in a heartbeat.
