Overnight Dune Buggy Dubai

Sunset drive. BBQ dinner under the stars. Desert sleep. Sunrise ride.

The only package where the buggy is the beginning, not the whole story. You drive into Lahbab at sunset, check into a private Bedouin-style tent with a real bed, eat a BBQ dinner by lantern light, watch the Milky Way clear of city glow, sleep inside the desert, then wake for a sunrise drive — all before 10 am the next morning.

Sunset + sunrise drives · Real bed, not a mat · 19 hrs door to door

What is an overnight dune buggy Dubai experience?

It is the only package in which you sleep inside the desert rather than return to Dubai the same day. Rates start at AED 2199 per person based on two sharing.

Overnight FAQ

Questions about sleeping in the desert

What is an overnight dune buggy Dubai experience?+

An overnight dune buggy Dubai experience combines a sunset self-drive buggy ride into the Lahbab desert, a BBQ dinner and overnight stay at a private Bedouin-style camp, stargazing, a sunrise drive the next morning, and breakfast before returning to your hotel. You sleep inside the desert in a real bed, not on a mat. Total trip length is approximately 19 hours from pickup to drop-off.

How much is an overnight dune buggy with desert stay?+

Rates start at AED 2199 per person (based on two people sharing) in a Polaris RZR XP Turbo, AED 2399 in a Can-Am X3, and AED 3999 for the private-tent honeymoon upgrade. All prices include sunset and sunrise drives, BBQ dinner, breakfast, overnight tent, stargazing and both transfers.

What are the Bedouin camp sleeping arrangements?+

Each booking gets a private Bedouin-style tent with a real bed (not a mat), sheets, pillows, blankets, bedside lamp, and access to shared bathrooms with hot showers. The honeymoon upgrade adds a private en-suite bathroom, king bed, welcome drinks and a flower arrangement.

How many hours of dune buggy driving do I actually get?+

Two and a half hours of self-drive buggy time — 90 minutes on the sunset drive when you arrive, and 60 minutes on the sunrise drive the next morning. The rest of the trip is about the camp experience, meals, stars and sleep.

Is alcohol served at the desert camp?+

Soft drinks, water, tea, coffee, Arabic tea, and fresh juices are included. A limited bar with beer and wine is available as a paid add-on on request — please mention it when you book and we will arrange the licence-compliant supply. Hard liquor is not offered.

What should I pack for an overnight desert trip?+

A change of clothes for the camp, a warm layer (desert nights can drop to 10°C in winter), toiletries, sunscreen, sunglasses, phone charger, and closed shoes for the drive. Everything else — towels, bedding, toothbrush, slippers — is provided at the camp. Pack light: your bag rides in the support SUV, not in the buggy.

Are kids allowed on the overnight dune buggy package?+

Kids from age 8 upwards are welcome as passengers in a 2-seater, or from age 6 in a 4-seater X3 MAX where parents drive. Families should book the 4-seater overnight and mention children's ages when booking. There are no kid-specific activities after dinner, so it suits families who are happy with stargazing and early bedtime.

Is the overnight trip good for honeymoons or anniversaries?+

Yes — the honeymoon upgrade is our most-requested romantic package. It includes a private en-suite tent with king bed, flower arrangement on arrival, a romantic dinner setup separated from the main BBQ, champagne-style (non-alcoholic or licensed) welcome drink, and a staged sunset photo session for the two of you. Add-on proposal planning (sand message, candle setup) available on request at no extra cost.

Booked the Can-Am Maverick X3 Turbo for sunset and my arms were sore for two days — worth every dirham. Machines felt brand new.

Evening Desert Safari with the BBQ dinner was the highlight of our whole Dubai trip. Fire show had the kids glued.

Yamaha Raptor 700 is genuinely fast, not a toy quad like some operators hand you. Guide kept the convoy tight on the dunes.

Pickup from our hotel in Marina was right on time and the driver knew exactly where he was going. Smooth from start to finish.

Took the 4 Seater Polaris RZR with my family — all four of us fit and the roll cage made my mother-in-law feel safe.

Hot air balloon at dawn then breakfast in the camp — faultless from pickup to drop-off. The falconry display was a lovely touch.

First time on a buggy and the Can-Am Maverick was easy to handle even for a nervous beginner. Staff kept the pace slow until I settled.

Rode the KTM 450 dirt bike after messaging on WhatsApp for pricing — the instructor spent a solid fifteen minutes on basics first.

Went with my sister for the Morning Desert Safari since we didn't want a late night. Dune bashing was smoother than I expected.

Loved that the belly dancer performed close enough that even the shy ones in our group got pulled up to dance. Great BBQ too.

Great value on the Private Morning Safari — just my wife and me with the driver, so we stopped for photos whenever we wanted.

Six of us did the Private Evening Safari with the BBQ — having our own vehicle meant zero waiting at each stop. Well run.

Sandboarding then the camel ride at the camp kept my two kids happy for hours, which honestly never happens. Booking was quick.

Rented the Can-Am Maverick X3 for the morning and it's a different beast — way more grip on the sand and real turbo punch.

My husband wanted a quad and I wanted a proper dinner, so the Evening Safari plus the 30-minute ATV solved the argument perfectly.

Second time booking a safari in Dubai and this crew beat the first company by a mile, especially on how organised the pickup was.

Kids on the fenced kids quad, us on the Kymco singles — the whole family rode and nobody felt left out. Helmets fit properly.

Honestly wasn't expecting much from a quad add-on, but 30 minutes on the Yamaha was one of the better parts of the whole safari.

Upgraded last minute to the Premium hot air balloon and the desert safari after landing was the best breakfast of the holiday.

Zero pressure the whole time — the lead guide read how confident each of us was and adjusted the route on the dunes to match.

Whole trip exceeded what I'd pictured, mostly because of how empty the dunes felt even in peak season. Would book again in a heartbeat.
