Private dune buggy Dubai — your convoy, your pace, your photos

Private dune buggy Dubai is a full convoy reserved exclusively for your group. There are no strangers on the ride, no strangers at the briefing, no strangers in the background of your photos. You choose the zone, set the pace, pick the duration, and your dedicated desert guide adjusts the route to match. Most couples book the private sunset for anniversaries or proposals, while corporate teams pick private half-days or full-day expeditions for team building.

The private difference

Why private bookings come back year after year

Roughly half of our private bookings are repeat customers — the same couples, the same companies, the same families. That only happens because the format delivers something the shared tours cannot.

1

The convoy bends to you

Shared tours have a schedule to keep. Private convoys do not. If you want an extra 10 minutes at the ridge, you take it. If the photographer wants one more pass, you make it. No clock-watching.

2

Celebrations land properly

Proposing on a desert ridge surrounded by strangers is awkward. Private solves it — the guide can set up the flower box, the photographer hides at the right angle, and the moment lands exactly as planned.

3

Corporate branding fits

We have run team-building days for banks, consulting firms, law practices and startups. Branded flags, company banners, catered setups and content packs come back in the debrief.

Private FAQ

Eight private tour questions answered

What does ‘private' include?

Private means your whole convoy — buggies, guides, base camp slot — is reserved for one group only. No other guests join you. You also get flexible start time, extra ridge photo time and access to optional extras like decorations and catering.

How much does a private tour cost?

Private rates start at AED 1,750 for a 2-hour convoy (our standard per-buggy rate). Sunset, half-day and full-day private convoys are quoted individually based on group size and vehicle mix, from that same AED 1,750 baseline. Overnight is AED 2,499 per person (twin-share), and corporate packages start from AED 4,999.

How large can the group be?

Most private bookings are 2–6 passengers. We can scale up to 16 with multiple buggies and extended guide teams. Larger corporate groups (20+) should contact us directly for a custom quote.

Can you help with a proposal?

Yes — we help plan desert proposals regularly. A flower box, LED-lit signage, a hidden photographer, and a quiet private ridge are all part of the package. Let us know in advance and we will build the setup around your plan.

How far in advance should I book?

Private weekday slots often go out same-day. Weekends and peak sunset timing should be booked 24–48 hours in advance. Corporate and overnight bookings are best arranged 5–7 days out so we can confirm catering and extras.

Is food included?

Water and light refreshments are included. Extras include a ridge snack box, a desert breakfast, a BBQ dinner at a private camp, or full catered base-camp setups for corporate groups.

Is private good for corporate events?

Private is our most popular corporate format. Team-building convoys mix self-drive and guided seats, add branded flags, photographer coverage and catered meals, and finish with a debrief space at the base camp.

Can you add a photographer?

Yes. A dedicated desert photographer is available for all private bookings as a paid extra. You receive a full gallery of edited images by email within 48 hours — ideal for proposals, birthdays and marketing content.

Booked the Can-Am Maverick X3 Turbo for sunset and my arms were sore for two days — worth every dirham. Machines felt brand new.

Evening Desert Safari with the BBQ dinner was the highlight of our whole Dubai trip. Fire show had the kids glued.

Yamaha Raptor 700 is genuinely fast, not a toy quad like some operators hand you. Guide kept the convoy tight on the dunes.

Pickup from our hotel in Marina was right on time and the driver knew exactly where he was going. Smooth from start to finish.

Took the 4 Seater Polaris RZR with my family — all four of us fit and the roll cage made my mother-in-law feel safe.

Hot air balloon at dawn then breakfast in the camp — faultless from pickup to drop-off. The falconry display was a lovely touch.

First time on a buggy and the Can-Am Maverick was easy to handle even for a nervous beginner. Staff kept the pace slow until I settled.

Rode the KTM 450 dirt bike after messaging on WhatsApp for pricing — the instructor spent a solid fifteen minutes on basics first.

Went with my sister for the Morning Desert Safari since we didn't want a late night. Dune bashing was smoother than I expected.

Loved that the belly dancer performed close enough that even the shy ones in our group got pulled up to dance. Great BBQ too.

Great value on the Private Morning Safari — just my wife and me with the driver, so we stopped for photos whenever we wanted.

Six of us did the Private Evening Safari with the BBQ — having our own vehicle meant zero waiting at each stop. Well run.

Sandboarding then the camel ride at the camp kept my two kids happy for hours, which honestly never happens. Booking was quick.

Rented the Can-Am Maverick X3 for the morning and it's a different beast — way more grip on the sand and real turbo punch.

Second time booking a safari in Dubai and this crew beat the first company by a mile, especially on how organised the pickup was.

Kids on the fenced kids quad, us on the Kymco singles — the whole family rode and nobody felt left out. Helmets fit properly.

Honestly wasn't expecting much from a quad add-on, but 30 minutes on the Yamaha was one of the better parts of the whole safari.

Upgraded last minute to the Premium hot air balloon and the desert safari after landing was the best breakfast of the holiday.

Everything on the Evening Safari ran on time, which after two other operators cancelled on us felt like a small miracle.

Two-hour session on the 1000cc turbo buggy flew by. Sand everywhere, huge grins, and the roll cage never let us feel exposed.

Whole trip exceeded what I'd pictured, mostly because of how empty the dunes felt even in peak season. Would book again in a heartbeat.
