A Double Seater ATV carries a driver plus one passenger on a back-rest seat — same thumb-throttle and automatic CVT as the single quad, just with a pillion spot behind you. What is the Double Seater Quad Bike?

The Double Seater is a two-seat version of our open-desert quad. The driver sits forward, the passenger sits behind on a cushioned seat with back-rest and hand grips. Same automatic CVT transmission as our singles, same thumb-lever throttle on the right handlebar, same hand-lever brakes. The difference is weight distribution — the quad corners slightly differently with two on board, so the lead guide takes it a touch slower than the single convoy.

It's popular with couples who want to ride together without two separate quads, parents with teenage kids (pillion age 10+), and travellers whose partner doesn't want to handle a machine but still wants the wind-in-hair open-desert ride. No driving license required — off-road on private desert land.

Price is AED 350 per quad for 30 minutes (that's AED 175 per person if you do the math — cheaper than two single quads). 1-hour and 2-hour durations available on WhatsApp. Driver minimum age is 18; pillion 10+.

Air-conditioned 4WD collects you from your hotel. Drive to Lahbab takes about 45 minutes.

Follow the lead guide through the red dunes at your own pace. Group speed is set to the least experienced rider so nobody gets left behind.

Safety First

Certified Guides, Inspected Fleet

Every quad in our Lahbab fleet is operated under DTCM licensing. Each machine is inspected before every session by our fleet team — brakes, throttle cable, tire pressure and fuel. Every rider wears a DOT-approved helmet and anti-sand goggles — non-negotiable.

Lead guides are MEAI-certified off-road instructors. They ride ahead on a Raptor, pick the safe line through soft sand and avoid hidden drops. Group speed is set to match the least experienced rider. If you raise a hand the whole group stops, no questions. First-aid kit in every vehicle.

How much is the Double Seater Quad Bike?+

AED 350 per quad for 30 minutes on the open deep desert. That's AED 175 per person for two riders — cheaper than two single quads. 1-hour: AED 550. 2-hour: AED 800.

What's the minimum age for the driver and the passenger?+

Driver: 18 years. Passenger (pillion): 10 years. Both wear DOT-approved helmets and anti-sand goggles.

Do I need a driving license?+

No. Quad riding at Lahbab is off-road recreation on private desert land — no license required.

Is the Double Seater automatic?+

Yes — automatic CVT. Thumb-lever throttle, hand-lever brakes. Same controls as the single Kymco.

Can I swap seats with my partner mid-ride?+

Yes — at the photo stop. Both riders can take turns driving as long as both are 18+. Tell the guide at briefing.

What if my passenger is nervous?+

The back-rest seat is cushioned with hand grips on both sides. The lead guide sets the group pace to match the nervous rider. If they want the group to stop at any point, raise a hand.

Cancellation policy?+

Free cancellation up to 24 h before pickup — full refund. After 24 h deposit reschedules within 30 days.
